Night 1: Francolin Cottage B+B, Maun – you will arrive at Maun Airport and transferred to your accommodation by your guide. Afternoon at your own leisure.

Nights 3, 4, 5: Okavango Delta Boat safari – After breakfast in Maun you will be transferred by road to the WLS boat station. We will then begin boating up to Chief’s Island where our mobile camp will be waiting for us. We take a picnic lunch and will spend the day on the river, game viewing as we go. While in the Okavango, we will do all our activities on the safari boat, on foot and by mokoro (dug-out canoe). most of the species we will see are “aquatic”: hippo, crocodiles, elephants.

Nights 6, 7, 8: Moremi vehicle Safari – After breakfast in our remote delta campsite, we will boat directly back to Maun. The WLS crew will begin packing up to relocate the mobile camp. You will be dropped off in Maun to have lunch somewhere while your guide and crew carry out a resupply for the next leg of the safari. After lunch we begin driving to Moremi. It is 100 km to the park gate. After entering we game drive towards camp. We need to give the crew time to relocate so we will only get there at sunset. During our time in Moremi we will be doing game drives to look for predators and big game.

Safari ends on day 9 – your guide will drop you at a bush airstrip in Moremi – you will be flown to Maun by light aircraft for your connecting flight home.
