The mobile Camping Experience

We think the best safari experiences are enjoyed through being mobile and making the most of the private, unfenced, natural campsites to be found within Botswana’s famous National Parks. We have choices of camp styles to help suit your budget – please research below.

Wherever possible, we’ll look to ensure that we’ll be the only group using our chosen sites, keeping your experience unique to you.

As said, we have choices of camp styles to help suit your budget – however, there are several factors that we do not cut corners on to ensure your comfort and value for money:

We provide decent, plentiful and healthy food – you won’t go hungry.
Food is cooked or baked fresh on an open fire.
We are limited on packing space, but have designed our beds to be as comfortable as possible while still maintaining a “camping feel.” We provide thick mattresses, full bedding and a raised “cot” – to make sure you get a good nights sleep (this is so very important!).
You can go to the toilet in comfort – we provide a real toilet seat!
Lastly, you can shower everyday. It is a bucket shower, but you can clean up perfectly and even wash your hair!

Our "Comfortable" Safari Tents

Enjoy 2-man 3×3 meter tents with a hand-wash basin, raised beds, a pillow, duvet and sheet.

All tours are accompanied by a lead guide (James Haskins), plus an experienced cook / camp assistant. Our staff perform all camp duties but you may be expected to help with the lighter work.
If group sizes are small (up to five or six people), then we will travel in one vehicle with all our equipment in the trailer.
The trailer serves as our camp kitchen. The cook will prepare meals from fresh ingredients with fruit and vegetables being plentiful everyday. There is a meat dish cooked for dinner each evening followed by a tasty dessert – you certainly will not go hungry!
Finally, shared toilets are dug on site and a proper toilet seat is provided. A shared hot bucket shower is available after each day of game viewing.

Our "Semi-luxury" Safari Tents

Designed for those who want a few extra creature comforts…… We’ll provide en-suite toilet facilities, attached to the rear of each 3×3 meter tent providing greater privacy. The toilet is a real toilet seat above a hole dug on site. “Flushing” is done slightly different to at home! We erect a single bucket shower in the camp for use by the group.
We’ll provide spacious tents high enough to stand up inside with electric lighting, raised beds and full bedding included. Hot water will also be brought to your “stand basin” at your tent every morning and after each activity. There is a small “vanity mirror” above your basin and we provide towels. You get 2 pillows, a duvet and a thick blanket for winter and we may give you a hot water bottle if it gets really cold!
Take it easier. A back-up crew will drive ahead and erect the camp before our arrival. On moving days we will depart early while the crew break down the camp.
Food for thought: An extended menu will be provided (cooked on an open fire) as well as a tented dining area. We’ll also provide all bottled drinking water, soft drinks and selected alcoholic beverages.
